FAQs

What will the Radical Black Joy: A Celebration For Black Parent Initiative be like?

Your ticket includes a social hour and reception with drinks and appetizers starting at 5PM. Then we’ll be seated for dinner and a program with opportunities to support BPI with your investments.

Who is the keynote speaker?
Shaka Senghor is a distinguished author, speaker, and father. His latest book, "Letters to the Sons of Society" is a collection of beautifully written letters to Shaka's sons Jay and Sekou, reflecting on his journey as a Black man in America and the toxic and misguided messages about masculinity, mental health, love and success that boys learn from an early age. It serves as a soulful examination of the bond between father and sons, and a touchstone for anyone seeking a kinder, more just world. To learn more about Shaka, please visit shakasenghor.com.
